Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum

CGSAA members were invited and attended an exclusive guided tour at the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, guided by none other than our distinguished alumni, Ms Kok Oi Yee. Retired teachers Mrs Han, Mrs Kit and Mr Seow also attended the event. Oi Yee is one of Singapore’s first female nature guides and remains very active in the nature-guiding and ecology scenes. During the 3-hour tours, members were treated to intimate and amazing stories of nature and biodiversity of Southeast Asia, with over 2,000 natural history specimens to bring the sessions to life. This was a very special event for members to learn about our region’s biodiversity and catch up with ex-teachers!
